Stuff the Bus
School Supply Drive

Many Chattanooga area students lack the supplies they need to go back to school prepared for success.

United Way invites you to join us for our first STUFF THE BUS school supply drive for children and teens to equip our local youth for success in school.

United Way is asking everyone to host a supply drive at your business, school, or place of worship, or just donate school supplies.

There have been three collection sites and times for the general public to date that have netted approximately $8,700 in school supplies. They were July 22 at Porter's Steak House, August 22 at the Chattanooga Market, and August 24 at the Trade Center.

Our next public collection time and location will be Sunday, September 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Warner Park.

Because students' supply needs don't end when school begins, Stuff the Bus will be continued through October.

You may also donate dollars to purchase school supplies. Any amount is welcome.

Supplies will be distributed to students in need through United Way's 2-1-1 Resource Center.
